Acceptance and account use
By creating a SoApp account, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the App Privacy Policy. SoApp may record the version accepted and the date of acceptance.
If you access a SoApp environment without creating an account, viewing alone does not require account creation. Before actively participating, you may be asked to accept the applicable lightweight terms, community rules and privacy information.
Accountless access
Accountless access is temporary. Unless you create a SoApp account, access to a shared environment expires seven days after your first entry into that environment.
When access expires, your guest access/session is revoked. Content already contributed to the shared environment may remain where it is part of the shared conversation, event, poll, checklist, file set or other group activity used by the remaining participants. Retained contributions may be shown under a neutral guest identity.
Your content and shared content
You remain responsible for content you submit to SoApp. By sending or sharing content into a conversation, event or other shared environment, you allow SoApp to host, process and display that content as needed to provide the service to the intended participants.
Shared content can become part of another participant’s conversation or group history. Account deletion or expiry of accountless access does not necessarily remove copies already shared with other participants; where retained, the account/session relationship should be removed or neutralised in accordance with the account deletion information and App Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use and community safety
You must not use SoApp for unlawful activity, harassment, threats, scams, impersonation, sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, malicious content, unlawful infringement of privacy or intellectual property, or attempts to compromise SoApp or other users.
More detail is available in the Community & Safety Standards. Where required by law or store policy, SoApp may remove content, restrict access, suspend or terminate accounts and cooperate with lawful requests.
Minors
SoApp is a messaging and coordination service and is not specifically directed at children. Minors may use SoApp only where permitted by applicable law and, where legally required, with the authorization of a parent or guardian.
SoApp may apply additional safeguards where required by law, including age-appropriate privacy, safety or consent measures.
Reporting, blocking and enforcement
You can contact contact@soappsocial.com about abuse, safety concerns, illegal content or suspected violations of these terms. SoApp is implementing in-product reporting for reportable users and content where required.
Blocking and moderation tools may be used to protect participants and the service. Enforcement decisions may include warnings, content removal, restrictions, removal from a shared environment, suspension or termination where appropriate.
Privacy and data handling
Use of SoApp involves processing account information, user content, device/security information and other data described in the App Privacy Policy. The public marketing website has a separate Website Privacy Notice.
Service availability and changes
SoApp is provided on an “as available” basis. We may change, improve, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Account suspension, termination and deletion
You may request permanent account deletion. Permanent deletion is different from uninstalling the app or any reversible deactivation feature. See Delete your account for the current process.
SoApp may suspend or terminate access where necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law, protect users or the service, or respond to serious abuse.
Law, disputes and changes
These terms are governed by French law, subject to mandatory consumer and jurisdiction rules that may apply to you. Contact contact@soappsocial.com first so a concern can be addressed.
We may update these terms as SoApp evolves. Material changes apply prospectively and the date above identifies the current version.
