Current cookies and browser storage
The public marketing, community and support website does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies, and its campaign-attribution feature does not use cookies, local storage, fingerprinting or a persistent visitor identifier.
Where a campaign parameter is present in a SoApp URL, it may continue between public SoApp pages and may be saved with a waitlist or supporter submission. Campaign attribution is omitted when the browser communicates Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The privacy notice explains the fields and your choices.
The private supporter-review workspace uses a strictly necessary, HTTP-only session cookie when a designated administrator signs in. It lets that administrator renew or end the session. Access tokens stay in page memory rather than persistent browser storage. This authentication does not add advertising or audience-measurement tracking.
When you return from Stripe Checkout, the contribution page keeps a payment-status token in your browser tab’s session storage so a refresh can check the same contribution. This token is used only to retrieve the contribution’s status; it does not sign you in, give access to billing management or identify you for marketing. Clearing the tab’s site data removes the saved token.
Checkout and monthly-support management open on Stripe’s hosted pages. Stripe may use its own cookies and security technologies there under its privacy policy. The public website does not load an embedded Stripe payment form or Stripe tracking script before you choose to open those pages.
The separate SoApp app and web product may use strictly necessary authentication or security technologies when a user signs in. Those product technologies fall under the app/web service privacy information rather than this public-website cookie notice.
Why no cookie banner appears
The public website does not currently activate non-essential cookies or trackers that require prior consent. For that reason, there is no analytics or advertising cookie banner on this public website today.
If SoApp later adds optional analytics, advertising or social-media trackers, they will be blocked until the required choice has been offered, and this notice will be updated before activation.
Your browser controls
You can block or remove cookies and site data through your browser settings. Doing so may prevent strictly necessary authentication or security functions from working on SoApp product surfaces that require them.
For information about personal data associated with the public website, read the privacy notice. Questions can be sent to contact@soappsocial.com.
