Operator and acceptance
The website is operated by SoApp Social SAS. By using the public website or submitting information through it, you agree to these website terms and the documents they reference. If you submit for an organisation, you must be authorised to do so.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of making the relevant supporter or organisational submission. Contact and registration details are in the legal notice.
Public website and roadmap information
The website explains SoApp’s current product, intended direction, design and roadmap. Descriptions of future functions, including DataClones, research, pilots, payments and connected product features, are not promises that a feature is currently available or will launch on a fixed date.
The public website can offer voluntary financial contributions when its payment connection is enabled. These contributions are described below; they do not purchase a paid SoApp product or service.
Joining the waitlist requests product, launch and community emails but does not guarantee access, a launch date or participation in a particular release. A subscriber may withdraw that request at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the website, attempt to bypass access controls, submit malicious code, impersonate another person or organisation, scrape personal data, or use the service unlawfully. Automated or excessive submissions may be limited or rejected.
External links are provided for context. SoApp does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Supporter submissions
- Information must be accurate, current and submitted in the stated personal or organisational capacity.
- Organisation submissions require the representative to have authority to start the relevant discussion and submit the statement.
- Public display is optional and never automatic. SoApp may verify identity, capacity, wording and the factual status before publication.
- SoApp may seek clarification, keep a submission private, decline it, correct evident inaccuracies or remove content that is misleading, unlawful, unsafe or inconsistent with these terms.
- A public support entry does not by itself establish research validation, funding, endorsement, employment, agency, partnership or an active collaboration.
MOU conversations and typed confirmation
An MOU request is private and starts a conversation only. It is not a memorandum, contract, partnership or promise to collaborate. Any binding or non-binding MOU exists only if the relevant parties separately approve and execute the document through an agreed process.
The typed name in the supporter form records who made the submission and confirms the statement and publication choices. It is not presented as a public signature and is not intended to be a qualified electronic signature.
Permission for public materials
You retain ownership of your submitted name, logo, website and statement. When you opt into public display, you grant SoApp Social SAS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to reproduce, format and display only the approved materials on the SoApp website and closely related project communications while that permission remains active.
You confirm that you are entitled to grant that permission. You may withdraw it prospectively by emailing contact@soappsocial.com. SoApp will remove the public profile within a reasonable operational period, while retaining only the limited records described in the privacy notice.
Voluntary financial contributions
Contributions support SoApp Social SAS. You choose an amount in euros and either a one-off payment or monthly support. The available option, amount and frequency are shown before you continue to Stripe’s hosted Checkout. A website selection alone is not a payment, and returning from Checkout is not proof that payment succeeded.
One-off contributions are charged once. Monthly support authorises Stripe to charge your selected amount each month until cancellation. Stripe requires an email address at Checkout. Use that same email to receive a secure login link to Stripe’s customer portal; no SoApp account is needed. You can update payment details or cancel the subscription there. Cancellation takes effect immediately and stops future monthly payments; it does not itself refund a payment already made. Cancellation access remains available when new contributions are paused. If you cannot use the portal, email contact@soappsocial.com using the email associated with your subscription.
A contribution does not buy shares, ownership, product access, a guaranteed release or influence over community decisions. A Stripe product or statement label containing “donation” is not a promise of charitable tax relief. SoApp does not offer a tax-deductible charitable receipt through this flow.
Contributing does not subscribe you to the newsletter or publish your name. Public recognition requires a separate supporter submission, permission and review. Payment-data handling is described in the website privacy notice.
For a payment error, cancellation difficulty or refund request, email contact@soappsocial.com with the relevant Stripe payment reference. Requests are reviewed according to their circumstances and applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Availability and responsibility
SoApp works to keep the public website accurate and secure, but it is provided on an “as available” basis. Content may change, and uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.
To the extent permitted by law, SoApp is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this informational website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights.
Law, disputes and changes
These terms are governed by French law. Please contact contact@soappsocial.com first so that a concern can be addressed amicably. Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or consumer rule, disputes fall within the competence of the French courts.
These terms may change as the website develops. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will apply prospectively.
