01 Use SoApp

Start with
something real.

One place for the plan. A clearer view of what matters.

Bring your group into a private, geofenced event. Mute the conversation and use Home Wall filters to keep important information in view. Plans and shared memories stay together; guests join by web link.

Plain answers

What SoApp is.
Without the fog.

Clear answers about the event platform being prepared for launch, the longer-term vision and ways to take part.

01What is SoApp Social?

SoApp Social is a free social platform in development, starting with private groups and geofenced events. It brings plans, conversation, photos, videos, polls, lists and group costs together. The Home Wall lets you filter important information while muting the group conversation.

02What can I do inside a SoApp event?

A group can organise the event, pin important details, make decisions, contribute media and keep track of shared costs without scattering the experience across several apps.

03Can guests join without installing the app?

Yes. An invitation link is designed to let guests participate from their browser without an account or app installation. Organisers need a SoApp account. The website’s Create Event action will open the SoApp webapp; creating an event does not require downloading the mobile app. The platform connection is still being completed.

04What can a guest access?

A chat invitation gives access to the full chat and events created within it. An event invitation gives access only to that event. Guests stay within the context they were invited into; the link does not open the rest of SoApp.

05Is SoApp free?

SoApp is free to use. An organiser may separately charge for an event or require a contribution. When ticket payments become available, SoApp plans to take 10% of tickets sold through SoApp. Ticket payments are not available yet.

06Can I mute a group without missing important information?

That is the role of the Home Wall: filter the information you want to see while the group conversation stays muted. The website presents this intended product behaviour; the platform is not yet connected here.

07What is a geofenced event?

A geofenced event has a photo zone around a chosen real-world place. SoApp is designed to help participants find media captured in that zone and choose what to add to the shared gallery. Finding media does not automatically publish it.

08What is the Experience Marketplace?

It is a planned travel-first marketplace where a complete experience—its route, places, timing, recommendations and memories—can be shared freely or eventually offered by its creator.

09What is a DataClone?

SoApp’s long-term vision for all the data you generate on the platform, brought together into a bubble you control that shapes what you discover and how you experience the digital world. It could shape recommendations, an AI’s behaviour or a game character’s perspective. Sharing and each use would remain your choice. DataClones belong to Phase 4 and are not available today.

10How can I contribute to SoApp?

You can suggest an idea, test a release, contribute design or research, make an introduction, or support the work. SoApp’s product source is private. Any wider code-contribution model belongs to the planned Phase 3. Connections that are not live yet remain clearly marked.
